Angel Olsen
Angel Olsen, an American artist and musician originally hailing from St. Louis Missouri now lives in Asheville North Carolina. To date Olsen has made six studio albums available: Half Way Home Burn Your Fire for No Witness My Woman All Mirrors, Whole New Mess, and Big Time. I think it's because my mother is incredibly good with kids. Her parents were the first to adopt her at three years old and who had been caring for her for a while after her birth. Because there are so many decades of difference between us I became more interested in what they were like as children. My dream was more about having a young life in the 1930s or 1950s than youngsters my age. Life in the private. On the 16th of April in 2021, Olsen made public her gay identity. In 2022, Olsen announced that her marriage with her girlfriend Adele Thibodeaux had ended and she was in a relationship with long-time friend and musician Meg Duffy for a few months during 2020. Olsen revealed on social media platforms that she had been gay since the beginning of 2021. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Olsen began performing in the city's cafes during her teenage years soon expanding her repertoire and gaining access to a community of fellow artists. In 2006 she moved to Chicago where she collaborated with the singer-songwriter from California Emmett Kel, who is part of the Cairo Gang. Her prior album All Mirrors from 2019 featured dark almost gothic synth-rock and affecting forays into classical pop. Big Time Big Time the first album that Olsen is vocally expressing gay love, she switches to a notably tradition-bound genre called country. This makes a lot of sense.
